Guiding Principles for a Seamless Stay!

1. Property Management Agreement
By partnering with HOM-AWAY, property owners agree to allow us to manage and market their property for short-term rentals. We will oversee all aspects including bookings, guest communication, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Owners must provide accurate and up-to-date property details.
  • A management contract outlining fees, responsibilities, and duration must be signed.
  • Owners agree to allow access to the property for inspections, guest stays, and maintenance.
2. Guest Responsibility & Behavior
Guests are expected to treat properties with respect and abide by all house rules provided at check-in.
  • Any damages caused during the stay will be charged to the guest.
  • No illegal activities, parties, or unauthorized guests are permitted.
  • Noise levels must be kept reasonable at all times.
3. Payment Terms
Rental income will be transferred to property owners as per the agreed payout schedule in the contract.
  • Service fees and operational costs will be deducted from the rental income.
  • Payments are made monthly unless otherwise agreed.
  • Taxes and government levies (if applicable) will be handled in accordance with local regulations.
4. Cancellations & Refund Policy
Cancellations by guests or property owners must follow the terms outlined in the booking agreement.
  • Guest cancellations may be subject to partial or full charges depending on the notice period.
  • Owner-initiated cancellations must be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
  • HOM-AWAY reserves the right to cancel bookings in case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., emergencies, legal restrictions).
5. Property Standards & Furnishings
We aim to maintain high-quality living spaces that align with our minimalist and eco-conscious design philosophy.
  • Owners agree to maintain the property to a standard suitable for short-term rentals.
  • We may recommend or assist with furnishing upgrades to meet guest expectations.
  • Any renovation or styling will be discussed and approved by the owner.
6. Liability & Insurance
HOM-AWAY is not liable for unforeseeable damages or losses related to natural disasters, theft, or force majeure events.
  • Property owners are advised to maintain insurance coverage for their property.
  • Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during their stay.
  • Our team will handle emergencies to the best of our ability but cannot guarantee outcomes beyond our control.
7. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services to improve operational efficiency and guest experience.
  • Any significant changes will be communicated to property owners in advance.
  • Service updates may include adjustments in fees, property listing details, or available amenities.
